🥸📚fake news as a service, buying domains to protect the world, and robot hands danger

launch of book tool, $10m on a domain to keep it out of the wrong hands, and ai robot hands that look real enough to be dangerous

📚Marc just launched storyai.cc, a tool that "enables anyone to write a story.” That’s an interesting way to put it marc. What I would actually say here is, “enables anybody to take the jobs of actual talented human authors”

What happened to creativity?

💰Dharmesh Shah from HubSpot recently spend over $10M on a single domain, Chat.com. The best part is, Dharmesh actually just points to a LinkedIn post with this domain. This gives me hope that Dharmesh is one of us, and bought the domain to keep it out of the hands of evil technologists looking to use ai. Thanks dharmesh🙏

Peter Levels has been building a 👉handful of tools over the past few months, and I’ve got to 🫱hand it to him, he’s done a great job of making sure there are some differentiators so humans can tell the difference.

For example, he had trained his model to make some UGLY hands, but that has changed as of recently. Peter decided that he does indeed want the ai overlords to take over, so he turned on the REAL HANDS model. Now how are we going to know what’s real and what’s fake?
