$2,500 to experiment with life-altering tech?
💰 OpenAI gives makers grants to experiment with their API. $2,500 to experiment with OpenAI's APIs? Sounds like blood money from a tech mobster to me. Sure, let's play around with something that could have unintended consequences and potentially harm society. What could possibly go wrong?
Received a $2,500 grant to experiment with @OpenAI's APIs 😍

☣️ Respell is working on an app that will let anybody build with AI using no-code. They describe themselves as, “Respell enables you to build, deploy, and manage cutting-edge AI apps, no code required”
What I really see here is an app that allows anybody to deploy cutting edge CHAOS. Who knows what the ai could do?
Here’s an example app they put out that shows how they set up GPT-4 to help students understand topics in a format that works for them. Or so they say…
GPT-4 will change the way that every student learns!
Imagine a single lesson being instantly converted into a version for visual learners, logical learners, etc.
We built an app that used GPT-4 to do exactly this - without code and in literal seconds.
Here's how we did it 👇🧵

📄ChatPDF could endanger 488 jobs per minute, by my calculations. People can just upload a PDF and then they interact with a chatbot in order to find what they need out of it. What is going to happen to all of the lawyers, research analysts, and technical writers? They can’t all work at the local smoothie shop.
I'm chatting with a PDF. We've arrived.
